Ohio Play is a bold and heart-warming production, written by New York-based artist Dylan Sherman. In a post Roe world, the story centres around Viv, a 17-year-old girl, who loves movies and hates asking men for help. When Viv ends up pregnant, she confronts the challenges of accessing abortion services with a boy named Linden, who will help her get a backdoor abortion in exchange for help with his college essay.

How do you survive in a world where your rights are denied? What does it mean to fight for autonomy with no support? How do you cope when a system meant to protect you denies you control over your own body?
